Francis Duncan Gibson III
Francis Gibson age 75 passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at West Hills Health Care Facility. Francis was an Attorney at Law for over 40 years and served in the United States Navy. He was an avid golfer and a UT fan. Francis was a member of Tellico Village Community Church, American Bar Association, and ran for County Commission in 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Francis Gibson, Jr. and Ruth Gibson. Francis was survived by his wife, Doris Anderson Gibson. Family will have a Celebration of Life from 3:00- 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Life Event Center, 1404 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville.
