HOFH Memorial Ceremony

We gather here to honor the brave alumni who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. On Veterans Day, we will remember their service and sacrifice, express our gratitude, and pay tribute to them and their families. This year, Lieutenant General John F. Sattler ’71, USMC (Ret.), former commander U.S. Marine Forces Central Command, will deliver the keynote address, joined by Jeff Webb ’95, President and CEO of the Alumni Association and Foundation (USNA AA&F), and RADM Fred Kacher ’90, USN, Acting Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy.

We are honored to host a “Tailgate” style event for you, the family of our fallen alumni, at our brand new 65,000-sq-ft center, where you will be warmly welcomed by volunteers, staff of the AA&F, and friends of the USNA community. To ensure that we have enough food and space for everyone, we kindly request that you provide us with the headcount and names of those in your group who will attend.

The AA&F is providing game tickets for the families of fallen heroes, seated together in a designated section of the stadium. To pay respects to your loved one, a "moment of silence" will be observed during the game, during which we will scroll the names of those fallen heroes whose families are in attendance on the endzone video boards. During this recognition, we’ll provide American Flags for you to raise to symbolize your loved one. To attend the game, please register for the number of game tickets you need for you and your family members.
