Richard L. Baldwin (June 6, 1934 - November 5, 2018)
Richard Lee Baldwin of Triangle, VA died on November 5, 2018 at Sentara Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Sally Baldwin, daughter Ann Bateman, son John Baldwin and his grandchildren Charlotte Sally Bateman, Robert Lee Bateman, Richard Stewart Baldwin, Caroline Carter Baldwin, Emma Jeanne Baldwin, and Benjamin Mitchell Baldwin. Richard is preceded in death by his son Richard L. Baldwin, Jr.
Richard was a graduate of United States Naval Academy class of 1959. He served in the US Navy for 8 years. In 1968 he began working for United Airlines where he worked until his retirement in 1994. Richard was a member of Dumfries United Methodist Church.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Richard’s life on Friday, November 9th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home located at 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 11:00 am at Dumfries United Methodist Church located at 3890 Cameron St, Dumfries, VA 22026.
