Stanley Zipser (April 17, 1923 - January 5, 2018)
Born in Canton, Ohio, and a resident of Southern California for over 70 years, Stanley Zipser passed away peacefully surrounded by family. An Ensign in the Navy and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in 1946 and Loyola Law School in 1951, he practiced law for 60 years. As fine a person as anyone who has graced this earth, and known by all for his wit and charm, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Lillan, who passed away in June 2017. He is survived by his four children, Mikael Koltai, Dean Zipser, Lisa Derr, and Stan Zipser, Jr. and their respective spouses, and his eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Services will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park & Mortuary in Corona del Mar on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
