Mary Jane Baciocco (NOVEMBER 21, 1931 – JUNE 30, 2018)
Jane Baciocco died peacefully on June 30, 2018. She was a long time resident of Mt Pleasant SC and more recently lived in Cary, NC.
Jane was born November 21, 1931, and raised in Coronado, California. She married the late Albert Joseph Baciocco, Jr, in 1955. Jane was a career Navy wife and an awesome mother tov her four children David, Debi, Andy and Susan. Jane greatly enjoyed her children and grandchildren, her porch swing, marsh breezes and the sound of children at play…not to mention milkshakes, chocolate chip cookies and a cold glass of chardonnay. A true rock for her family, offering always the best advice… and reminding us “not to borrow trouble” or “Don’t worry, dear”. Jane was a devout Catholic, with an incredible faith which inspired and comforted those close to her and rippled to those close to them. She had an incredible zest for life! Right to the end, she showed her desire to use the gifts God had given her. She made an incredible difference in this world, just by being in it.
Jane is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis, Maryland, on July 24, 2018 at 10:30am, followed by a graveside service. There will be a reception after the services at the Naval Academy Club.
In Lieu of Flowers, the Baciocco Family requests that memorial donations be made in Jane’s honor to a hospice organization in your community.
