Obituary (MD): Danielle Tamara Gross '07

Danielle Tamara Gross was born on November 26, 1985, the youngest daughter to Derrick and Sharon Gross. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Danielle was educated in Anne Arundel County Public Schools and graduated from Broadneck High School in 2003. After graduation, Danielle attended one year at the United States Naval Academy. Later, Danielle completed a five-year Steamfitters Apprenticeship Training Program at Montgomery College. In June 2017, Danielle earned her Certification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Journeyman. Danielle was extremely proud of finishing this program and was looking forward to using her knowledge to help other apprentices like those who had helped her. Danielle was employed with W.E. Bowers and was a proud member of Steamfitters, Local Union No. 602. Danielle loved her job and always spoke highly of her supervisors and co-workers. Danielle's heart was huge and she was always willing to give you whatever you needed. Danielle loved her family and looked forward to all family gatherings. Danielle and her sister Shereka had a relationship that was priceless. Whenever you were around Danielle, it was obvious how much her family meant to her. Her niece and Godchild Syann could always put a smile on her face. You could at times drive by her parent's house and see Danielle and her dog "Fatz" walking and playing in the yard. "Fatz" was Danielle's baby boy. Danielle loved spending time with all of her cousins, aunts, and uncles. One of Danielle's favorite hobbies was eating, especially her Aunt Patty's potato salad. She loved telling jokes and playing jokes on her family. Danielle also loved fishing, watching television, basketball, sleeping and listening to music. One of her favorite songs was "Take Me to The King". Danielle leaves to mourn her parents, Derrick and Sharon Gross; her sister, Shereka Gross; her niece and Godchild Syann Brown; grandmother, Marydell Jones; Godparents, Ivy Smith and Milford Gross; her dog, Fatz; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
