Frank G. Hiehle, Jr., 90, passed away March 20, 2018. He was born in Fairmont, WV to the late Frank G. Hiehle and Erma Henry Hiehle. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Dorothy C. Hiehle
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Following WWII, he was appointed as a midshipman to the U.S. Naval Academy. Upon retirement from the Navy, he took a job as an engineer doing overhaul planning for amphibious ships.
He is survived by his son, Frank G. Hiehle, III, of Virginia Beach,VA, his daughter, Martha H. Watson, of Noblesville, IN, her husband, Tom, and their daughter, Jenna, his sister, Kathryn J. Hiehle of Wyomissing, PA and his brother J. Frederick Hiehle and his wife Dolores of Wyomissing, PA.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 12 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1489 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. The funeral will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park. Online condolences can be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.
