On Monday, February 19, 2018 of Alexandria and Richmond, VA. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Anderson Shew of 48 years. Survivors are wife, Daniela Patterson Wyatt-Shew; sons, Robert (Cecilia) and William (Virginia) Shew; grandchildren, Reilly, Anderson, Isabel, and Gabriella Shew. Myer Old Post Chapel, and interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
