A message from the Summer Programs Team in the USNA Admissions Office:

We’d like to thank the chapters and individuals for their continued support for the Summer Seminar and Summer STEM programs. Your commitment to introducing a new generation of bright young leaders to the Naval Academy has an impact that continues for years to come. For the 2023 Program cycle, your donations funded the attendance of 95 Summer STEM students and 161 Summer Seminar students. These 256 students came from across the country to learn and grow on the Yard. Without your support, this would not have been possible.

As we enter the 2024 Program cycle, we are assured, from your track record of support, that the goal to exceed the 2023 scholarship offers will be met. Your donations have the power to change the life trajectory of the young men and women granted the opportunity to attend Summer STEM and Summer Seminar. Registration fees to attend Summer Seminar and STEM are $550 and $700, respectively.

Blue & Gold Officer Program

Coordinated through the USNA Admissions Office, the Blue & Gold Officer Program trains a nationwide network of informed volunteers who assist in the candidate admissions process. This group of more than 2,500 volunteers consists of active duty and Naval Reserve officers, retired military personnel, alumni, friends and supporters. Blue & Gold Officers (BGOs) serve every state and several overseas territories. BGOs are assigned to high school liaison duty and are expected to make the most positive impression of the USNA and the naval service. They are qualified to counsel prospective midshipmen on every aspect of the Naval Academy. BGOs typically attend college information sessions at schools and participate in college fairs and congressional service academy functions.
