Thomas Howell a devoted husband, respected legal professional, and proud military veteran, passed away peacefully on February 25,2026 at the age of 82
Born to John P. Howell a distinguished attorney, and Katherine Howell Full grew up with a deep appreciation for the law, service, and integrity. Inspired by his family’s dedication to justice and community, he pursued higher education with determination, including two years of Spanish study that reflected his lifelong curiosity about the world and other cultures.
Before beginning his legal career, Thomas Howell honorably served in the United States military, an experience that shaped his strong sense of duty and commitment to public service. Following his military service, he continued his education and earned a law degree, beginning a career that would earn him respect both nationally and internationally.
Throughout his distinguished professional life, Thomas Howell was deeply involved in the global legal community. He served as president of an international law society, where he worked to strengthen cooperation and dialogue among legal professionals around the world. His leadership, insight, and dedication left a lasting impact on colleagues and organizations alike.
