What drew you to attending the USNA?
The quality of the education, desire for new and exciting experiences and the ability to develop myself into a better person.

How did you first become interested in your sport?
My dad introduced me to golf when I was very young. There's a video of me walking around our living room with one of his irons when I was just one year old, and I’ve
loved the game for as long as I can remember.

What is something about the sport that most people don’t know or understand?
Golf is like a weird addiction. It can be the most frustrating thing in the world and constantly makes you want to quit, but the small successes keep you coming back. Trying to get better at golf is a constant struggle towards unattainable perfection.

What is the best part about your hometown?
It’s right on the lake, which makes for some great summertime activities.

Name three artists on your music play list.
Coldplay, Maroon5, Pegboard Nerds

If you could play another sport, what would it be (and why)?
Basketball. It’s a great team sport that still allows for one-on-one situations, it’s fast paced, and it’s something you can easily play for the rest of your life.

Favorite place you have visited in your life, and why is it your favorite?
The Big Island on Hawaii. The weather is perfect year round and has amazing beaches,
snorkeling, food and golf.

What is your favorite sports moment  since you’ve been at the Academy?
Beating Army for the first time last fall.

Knowing what you do now, what would you tell yourself on Induction Day?
Don’t worry, it’ll only get better from here.

What would you like to be doing in 10 years?
Hopefully still flying.
