Honoring Their Sacrifice, Celebrating Their Legacy

The Honor Our Fallen Heroes (HOFH) program honors and celebrates the service and sacrifice of those U.S. Naval Academy alumni killed in the service of their country. More than 2,700 alumni have paid the ultimate price in combat or in training for combat, have their names inscribed in the white granite walls of the Naval Academy’s Memorial Hall and are memorialized online in Virtual Memorial Hall, a website curated by the Run To Honor Shared Interest Group. Each fall, we welcome the families of these fallen heroes back to Annapolis for a memorial service in Memorial Hall, a luncheon in their honor and a moment of silence at a Naval Academy football game to come together in reverence for their service and sacrifice
