Betsy was born in Springfield, IL and met her future husband while summering on Long Island when they were kids. After James R. Wilkins, Jr graduated from the USNA and was commissioned in the Navy, the two married and raised three children. Betsy then got her master’s in social work from Tulane and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving as a Christian counselor in MD and NY. Betsy is survived by her children Susan Fox, Jim, and Dave Wilkins, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service at Annapolis EP Church will be held Monday, April 8 at 10 AM.
