Robert Dimas, Jr., born August 24, 1960 in San Antonio, TX and passed away at home on June 24, 2018. Proud graduate of the United States Naval Academy Class of 1982; Served as Captain in the United States Marine Corps (1982 - 1988). Beloved Husband of 36 years to Jeanne Marie (Gerlach); Proud Dad to his children, Robert Timothy (34) and fiancé Michelle, Andrew Gregory (27), Amanda Marie (25) and Sarah Grace (18); Pops to Rosemary and Rhett Dimas, Sophia and Meghan Shockney; Devoted Son to Consuelo and Oscar Davila; and Adored Brother to Henry Davila, Brenda Engel, Veronica Davila, Christopher Dimas, and Christina Acosta. Bob treasured spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was an avid golfer. He loved spending time at Port Aransas, TX, and Outer Banks, NC. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
