Register of Alumni

Frequently Asked Questions by Alumni

Q1 - I received an email/postcard/ from a company asking for my personal information and said they were working with the U.S. States Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation (USNA AA&F). Tell me more about the project.

A1 - We have partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce our new alumni Register. PCI is a family-owned business based in Dallas, TX that has published directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the nation for over 100 years.

This project allows the USNA AA&F to receive important updates to our database so we know more about our alumni and how we can better serve you and future alumni.

Q1a - Is the email from PCI safe to open? (Sample of Email Letter)

A1a - We are aware of the email you received and can confirm that it is a safe source. It is not a spam or phishing attempt, and you are encouraged to call the phone number provided within the email. The link provided in the letter was generated by PCI to take you directly to: usna.com/register-of-alumni.

Q2 - Does the USNA AA&F benefit from this at all?

A2 - Yes, in a few different ways:

Updated Information – allows us to effectively communicate with and engage alumni

Legacy – preserves the history of our organization

Pride – wearing apparel shows support and love for our organization

Q3 - How do I know my information will only be used for Register purposes?

A3 - PCI is committed to protecting your information. The names, addresses and information provided to PCI for the publication of the Register will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the Register and except as required by court order or law.

Q4 - I would like to verify or update my information. How may I do this?

If you received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a real, live human being representing the USNA AA&F project. They will verify the information we have on file for you and make any updates where needed.

If you received an email with an embedded link, simply click the link to go to the online site and review your information.
