Navy helicopter pilot and logistics engineer
Patrick John Milligan, 77, of Randolph, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at home, with his wife, Linda at his side.
Patrick grew up in Fond du Lac, Wis., with his seven brothers and sisters. He was the son of the late Joyce and Bernard Milligan. Patrick graduated from St. Mary's Springs High School, Fond du Lac, before entering the Naval Academy.
After graduating from the Naval Academy in 1965, Patrick served in the Navy as a lieutenant for five years, flying helicopters over the North Atlantic chasing Russian submarines during the Cold War. After the Navy, he worked as a logistics engineer.
Patrick was an avid traveler and enjoyed traveling all over the world with his wife, Linda.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda (Kulik) Milligan; son, Martin Milligan and his spouse, Joe Ellison; daughter, Susan (Milligan) Wise and her two children; four siblings and their families and many friends.
