Dale Spear Harris (February 29, 1924 - June 28, 2019)
Mr. Dale Spear Harris, 95 of Lansdowne, Virginia passed on Friday, June 28, 2019.
Born Friday, February 29, 1924, in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin; he was the eldest of three sons of the late Elwyn Harris and the late Evalyn Spear Harris.
Dale graduated from the United States Naval Academy, and attended MIT. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.
Settling in Northern VA in the early 60's, Dale continued to serve in civilian service as a Program Manager with the Department of the Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Gloria Ruth Karle Harris in 1984, and his youngest brother Lyle in 2018.
Dale leaves his family to cherish his memory including his wife, Pauline Neill Harris, son, Dale Harris and wife Zelia of Falls Church, VA, daughter, Holly Harris, granddaughter Sophia, and a brother Kenneth Harris of Prairie du Sac, WI.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be held in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
