Thomas Cushman Zacharias, 81, died April 9, 2019. His wife, Debi, son Steven, and many of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren invite the public to celebrate his life at a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at All Saints' Church, 155 Clark St. in Enterprise. A meal will follow in the church's reception hall. His ashes will be buried at sea by the U.S. Navy. Born Feb. 10, 1938, in California, Mr. Zacharias graduated in 1959 from the U.S. Naval Academy, where he served as a petty officer and electrical engineer. He married Janet Beulah King on June 20, 1959, and they had three sons, Randal, Daniel and Steven. After Janet's death, Thomas married Debi Werner on Aug. 6, 1994. Tom and Debi have loved and cared for each other for nearly 25 years. His life is remembered for his sharp wit, quick humor, and love for the Lord. He shared Christ on many mission trips around the world, and served his church in the choir and as an usher, and he helped raise funds with the youth ministry for missions trips. Tom was a senior program analyst and data processor at Stetson University, IBM and Disney, among others. He enjoyed generously sharing trips to Disney with several visiting missionaries, friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; sons Randal and Daniel; and grandson William "Billy."
