Obituary (SC): Timothy Colin Brady '89

Timothy "Colin" Brady, 51, of Rock Hill went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 7, 2019 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Colin was born on June 15, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Jean Royce Brady. He was a graduate of Lane Tech High School and the United States Naval Academy in 1989. The Navy led him to serve on a nuclear submarine in San Diego, California in the early nineties, following his service to our country Colin began to teach math at high schools in San Diego. Colin recently worked at LPL Financial in Fort Mill, SC after transferring five years ago. He was a loyal Christian in leading his life thorough sharing genuine compassion towards others, Colin was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Rock Hill. He loved to read, hike, play historical war games, and spending quality time with his wife and best friend Susan. Colin had many talents which included being a wonderful teacher, Irish Dancer, and voice impersonator; his Richard Nixon, Ronald Regan and Sean Connery impressions obtained the most laughs. In addition to his parents' survivors include his loving wife Susan L. Brady of the home, brothers Kevin Brady (Tina) and Lance Brady (Joan), sister Kathy Faulkenstein (Todd), father-in-law Bob Wiseman (Mary), mother-in-law Myrna Ocray. Also surviving are numerous special nieces and nephews; sisters and brother-in-law. A note to Colin from his wife Susan; I deeply thank you for the strong love and fine Christian devotion that he faithfully demonstrated to me through his loyalty, quality and kind, gentle ways. I will miss him dearly in waiting, until we meet again my love. I love you "Hunnee", thank you! Love, yours truly Susan A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church, Rock Hill. Rev. Scott M Davis, Ed. D will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00-11:45 A.M., prior to the service at Northside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1140 Curtis Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
