Joan Wilson Woodbury (Age 89), passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her home in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late Capt. John L. Woodbury, Jr., Joan is survived by her son, Leland, his wife, Judith and their children, Asher and Clea; son, Wilson, his wife, Kristin, and their child, John; her daughter, Lynda, her husband, John Michael Sr., and their children, Marlee, Jennifer, and John Michael, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 118 N. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment at the US Naval Academy at a later date.
