Her parents brought her and her three brothers, Steve and Harry Dejter, and George Winiarz to the United States when Tina was an infant. Tina grew up in Cambridge, Maryland, and later Annapolis where she met her husband Roger Anthony Lammers, a cadet at the Naval Academy. Before they married, she graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Arts. Roger and Tina were married at the Naval Academy on Labor Day weekend 1969. Tina loved Roger and devoted herself to his entrepreneurial business pursuits. She believed in him and supported him through rags and riches and sickness and health. They remained happily married for 47 years. Roger died in February 2016. Tina was a devoted mother to Andy, Becky, and Natalie. She was an artist-painting floral watercolors that she gave to people she loved. She was an accomplished gourmet chef creating flambe meals for dinner guests and even had a home business making wedding cakes. Tina was an avid athlete playing tennis through college, water skiing, shooting, fishing, and walking in a ladies group in the latter part of her life. Tina was devoted to Jesus. She prayed every day for the people she loved, actively participated in the Church and Bible studies. She supported many ministries. She was a kind and loving person. She leaves behind three loving children: Andrew Lammers, Rebecca Lammers Sobol, and Natalie Lammers Imel; and four grandchildren: Megan (17), Aubrey (15), and Ella (12) Busey and Lawrence Imel (6 months).
