The LOG Magazine

My name is Tim Whitney. I am a Second-Class at USNA and the editor-in-chief of The LOG Magazine. I'm writing you to let you know that we are now accepting subscriptions for the magazine. The LOG Magazine is the Professional, Sports, and Humor Magazine of the Brigade of Midshipmen.  (Mostly humor.) As you can discover on our website, The LOG was published from 1913 until 2000, when it was disbanded. We just recently brought it back to the delight of the Brigade.

The last 5 issues of the 2008-2009 Academic Year are available for $30. More information can be found at our website, www.usna.edu/thelog.  We need 1,228 outside subscriptions in order to break even for the year. In order for the Brigade to continue to receive the magazine free of charge, we need to meet our subscription goal of 1,228.

We were hoping you might be able to take a look at our website, and perhaps post pertinent information on the Parents' Net site. It would be a tremendous help in keeping the magazine going. Thank you in advance for any help which you could provide.

Very respectfully,

MIDN 2/C Whitney
