In Memoriam: Admiral James D. Watkins '49, USN (Ret.)

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Admiral James D. Watkins, USN (Retired) Class of 1949. The admiral was a former CNO and a 2001 Distinguished Graduate.

The funeral mass will take place this Friday 3 August, 1100, at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in the Crypt Church (lower level – north side of building) - 400 Michigan Ave NE, Washington, DC.

Our deepest sympathy to the Watkins’s family and the Class of 1949.

Memorial Service: 3 August 2012, at 11 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in the Crypt Church (lower level – north side of building) - 400 Michigan Ave NE, Washington, DC 20017. The church can seat up to 600 and the mass is open to the public.
