Distinguished Military Professors
DMPs are assigned broad responsibility to manage a significant portion of the Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) Division core education program. As senior “Professors of the Practice,” DMP responsibilities include assignment as Core Course Director or Director of Character Education Programs, in addition to core teaching responsibilities and support to the Company Officer Masters Degree Program. The continuity and stability DMPs provide as part of the core education program delivers tremendous dividends in the development, assessment, and rigor of the curricula and the quality of faculty instruction and classroom effectiveness.
Currently there are four Distinguished Military Professors that are funded through private gift support.
