Norm, If you look in the November Shipmate '55 Column you'll see that due to its large size I promised to post the Chmelik 50th Wedding Anniversary Family photo on the '55 website to coincide with publication of the Shipmate Issue.. Well, here it is... all 1.9mb. Hope you can max the size on the website. By the way, I have no caption for it other than identifying what it is. Grandchildren a Class record??
I had a 50th wedding anniversary celebration on June 28 although our wedding date was on October 18. We were to invite all the grandchildren to come, but in October they would be in school. So for the moved-up celebration in June come they did: 12 from Idaho and 5 from California, who along with the locals, came to a total of 36 grandchildren! Is that a record for the class? The earlier time for the celebration was also better in another respect for three days later I had the privilege of swearing in my grandson Alex into the Navy at the U.S. Naval Academy.  Click here
