50th Reunion - A grand total of 567 classmates, spouses and friends came to our 50th reunion (292 classmates). 336 photos are available.

2005

September - After a long period preparing for our 50th Reunion, it finally happened September 7-11.

August - Our "50 Year Book" was received.

March - "50 Year Book" Letter. Buy now.

March - On February 22, 2005, the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation hosted the first of six Battalion Receptions at Alumni House. As of 3/15/05, three of the six have been held and web pages added to the Alumni website for these. This is part of the "Link in the Chain" program that unites the classes of 1955 and 2005. February - On February 17, 2005, Tom Kiefaber wrote a summary of the findings on a survey of the class on what we recall the process was for service selection at graduation.

January - Report with three photos on the gift of the Memorial Stadium Battle Arch that the Class of 1955 will be giving to USNA.

2004

November - THE 50TH REUNION LETTER PACKAGE MAILED TO ALL CLASSMATES: In early November all classmates should have received via US Postal Service a letter from Denny which included the following:

2003

August - GUIDANCE FOR PREPARING AND SUBMITTING MATERIAL for the 50-year Book: Submitting the data sheet via email as opposed to US Postal Service is an option offered. Classmates should have received via regular mail the first week of August 2003 three documents:

USNA 55 Instructions, Two pages explaining what needs to be done for a proper submittal. PDF Format (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer) or HTML format
A Data Sheet (This is a form structured to gather biographical data for submittal to prepare the 50-year Book.)

March - Letter from our President, Denny Sullivan, and Fred Tolleson regarding class donations for gifts from our class to the USNA for renovating the John Paul Jones Crypt and the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. This to honor our 50th.

February - Excerpts from the Class Notes in Jan/Feb 2003 Shipmate.

January - This posted to the "Photos & Sounds Library" - A cluster of pages about the classes of 2005 and 1955 bonding. Includes Reaffirmation Day, Induction Day and a page on the Mustin family. "Fifty Years Later".

January - Remember "SNAFU" and "Plebian"? Dan Butterfield and John Roberts have converted a total of six issues to digital format, and two of these are posted to the class website along with index pages showing the other four.

January - Class aviators stories sought. Listserv email Jan. '03.

2002

December - Advanced Planning News: 50th REUNION advanced planning has commenced. Tentative dates are: 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 September 2005.

December - The 50 year Book Committee met at Don and Nancy Kellerman's house on December 14, 2002.
