February 2002 Reunion in Ponte Vedra, Florida

A small but spirited group met for the better part of three days in February at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club to celebrate the 61st anniversary of our graduation.  Most celebrants arrived on the 6th and got things off to a roaring start at nearby Fleet Landing Club.  A bit of rain on the 7th curtailed most outdoor endeavors but the '41 hospitality room at the Inn flourished with activity right up to the start of the banquet that evening.  The fulfilling brunch on the 8th afforded a final opportunity to tell one more sea story, say farewells and thank those who, with their helpmates, made the occasion one fondly to remember: Gray Strum (CINC), Lou Edwards, Bill Elliott, Charlie Styer, Ray Welch and Tom Wolfe.
