Ball Reservations

Important: Reservations should be made by December 1, 2009!

• Ticket costs are $50 per person prior to December 1, 2009... After, they are $60 per person. Seating availability is not guaranteed after Dec. 15. No tickets will be available for purchase the night of the ball.
• Please remember that your Cadet or Midshipman will need a paid reservation for the Ball. If they are not included in your above headcount, please let us know via email, jsamb@sbcglobal.net and send your additional check to: Susan Sweisthal 22927 Northoak Forest Lane Spring, TX 77389.
• Tables of ten are available... Seating priority based on date of reservation... Every effort will be made to accommodate your seating preferences for full tables of ten.
• No tickets will be mailed... All reservations are final... No refunds will be made.
• Please check-in with your designated Academy for seating assignment... Coast Guard and Merchant Marine Attendees check-in at the Naval Academy table... Cadets and Midshipmen will receive their cash gift at check-in... They will need to report at 6:00pm for the March-in and Academy Group Pictures... Information on photography will be provided at check-in.
• Remind your Cadet/Midshipman to bring their Mess Dress home for the holidays. Civilian dress is Black Tie Optional for men. Women typically wear long formal evening dresses or short, dressy cocktail dresses
• All guest should be seated by 7:00 p.m. for the March-In and Program. First Class Cadets and Midshipmen will be honored at this time.
• After the March-In, female Cadets and Midshipman may change into gowns, if they wish, in the Moody Gardens Spa. A coat check area will be available throughout the ball. Uniforms and gowns may be checked there, if desired, but no personal items should be left in the Spa during the ball.
• There will be a cash bar at the Ball... Cadets/Midshipmen will receive free soft drinks during the Ball.

Hotel Accommodations

• Hotel rooms may be reserved by calling The Moody Gardens Hotel and Spa Resort at 800.582.4673 or at The Inn at The Water Park 409.740.1155.
• Be sure to request the special room rate being offered to the Joint Military Ball guests of $109 plus tax at The Moody Gardens Hotel. Rooms can also be reserved at The Inn at The Water Park for $79, plus tax, which includes complimentary shuttle service between the Ball and The Inn, located at the entrance of Moody Gardens.
• Reservations should be made as soon as possible.

Parking

• Complimentary parking is provided in the garage adjacent to the entrance of the Convention Center.
