Dark Ages in Annapolis
The USNA
Parents Club of Central PA graciously invited the SPPA
members to join their membership in their annual Dark Ages
luncheon with their mids in Annapolis. This year the
group was graced with Mrs. Rempt’s attendance as a
guest speaker. We all enjoyed a lovely recap of the Superintendent's
Navy life along with his bride and the many adventures during their 41 years
of married life. Heidi Sproat and Joe
and Vira Homick attended the meeting representing the SPPA.
Mrs. Rempt gave a lovely speech, peppered with much
humor and lessons learned, and even gave the club a great plug for the
cookbook. About 40 participants converged at the Middleton
Tavern. All enjoyed a lovely luncheon,
good company and a chance to dine with their mids.
With the start of such joint events with the Central PA group we
hope next year will bring even greater participation.
