Company Logos |
All 30
companies at the US Naval Academy have a logo representing their
company. The logos on this page are
current as of 2006. On the yard, Midshipmen
wear their company’s logo patch attached to their “Ike” jackets. It is very easy to recognize their company. There is
probably a story behind the creation and meaning of each and everyone of
these. If you have the scoop on any of
these, please send it for inclusion on this page. If you would
like to download all of these images, they are available in a zipfile.. Click here Thank you to Joe
Bartish for bringing all these logos together and Jim Carlson for publishing
them. |

Apparently a MID who was the recipient of an Army/Navy Game Prank,
was not happy with what had happened, and complained to her Father, an
Admiral. As a result, the entire
Company was put on restriction, and almost did not go to the A/N Game, and
was isolated by riding a different bus. When the Brigade discovered this, they took up the cry: |

The reference to “The Club” in the 28th Company logo
is from the croquet club that was started by the company a long time ago. The phrase “From the Ashes” came about in 2005 when the
company came from one of the last companies in brigade to one of the top. |
