Membership

· Membership is open to those parents and guardians of Naval Academy appointees, midshipman or graduates who live in the Central Pennsylvania area

· Membership is also open to anyone interested in the goals of our Club (ie., Alumni Parents.)

· Membership in good standing requires timely payment of annual dues for parents of current Midshipmen and Alumni.

· Active Blue and Gold officers serving in Central Pennsylvania shall be honorary members of the Club as well as legislators and their staff.

· PLEBE PICNIC - offers members the opportunity to meet and assist new plebes and their families

· PLEBE PARENT INFORMATION BOOKLET - offers a way for club members to impart valuable information to Central PA Plebe families

· SHORE MATE PROGRAM - provides someone to talk to when questions or concerns arise

· TAILGATE PARTY - provides a social gathering for families, midshipmen, and friends

· BUS TOUR - offers the members an opportunity to assist prospective candidates and their families

· NAVY/ARMY GAME GET-TOGETHER - reserves a block of seats for Central PA members and friends, followed by a post-game victory party

· PA Mid-Stater eNewsletter - provides information of interest to Central PA Mids and their families (available on webpage )

· THREE CHEERS LUNCHEON - provides the opportunity for all paid members to gather and honor all graduating Central PA Firsties during Commissioning Week (members attend at special rate)

· GIFTS FOR AREA MIDSHIPMEN - provides for birthday greetings and cookies to area Mids from the club; provides Central PA graduates with a congratulatory gift

· MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY - offers club contact information and ensures delivery of the Mid-Stater newsletter to paid members; is distributed to each paid member in the fall
