On May 17, 2009 the Central PA Parents’ Club held its annual Three Cheers Luncheon. This Luncheon was a celebration in honor of the members of the Naval Academy Class of 2009 who are from Central Pennsylvania. The lunch took place at the Officers’ & Faculty Club on the Naval Academy. 

 

Following club tradition each graduating midshipman was presented with a United States Flag that was flown over the nation’s Capitol along with an official certificate commemorating his or her graduation and commissioning and attesting to the time and date the flag was flown. Also, each Firstie was presented with a silver dollar from the year 2009 to keep as well as a silver dollar to present to the first person that salutes them.
