Annapolis Bus Trip!
The purpose of the trip is to promote the Academy to perspective applicants and their families. 70 guests participated in the event. We were treated to a superb Admissions brief from Marine Captain Leron Lane in Rickover Hall, a question and answer period with 11 midshipmen from the Academy (most from Central Pa), a fantastic lunch in King Hall, and a tour to include typical living areas and classrooms. Everyone regrouped at the Visitor Center to purchase some mementos and head back to Pennsylvania. We were also fortunate to have 2 Blue and Gold officers on the trip to add additional insight. After this informational day, the guests did pretty well with Joe Innerst's Naval Academy trivia game on the way home. A great day for all hands! |
