The first photo of John Haynes & Bob Boyd, CSU 54 & our classmate, was taken at Ned Floyd's party on the Coronado Cays Wednesday.  Believe he changed sides at halftime.

The second photo is of me & a group of Mids.  The gal pulled me out of my march around the tailgate and asked for the photo opportunity, to which I happily accepted.

The third photo is of Ned Floyd, Bob Boyd, and I at halftime.

The final photo is of Wally Christmas, myself with John Haynes and his grandson.

"On the eve of the Poinsettia Bowl, Wednesday, 21 December, '55ers gathered at the Jamaica Village Clubhouse in Coronado Cays for merriment and camaraderie.  The cocktail party was hosted by Ned and Lynne FLOYD.  The local '55ers provided heavy potluck pupus and many visiting '55ers did too.  Visiting '55ers were encouraged to bring their hosts.  Ace DAVIS brought his son Wythe (Comptroller for the SEALS) with his wife Kari.  John HAYNES brought two generations, his son  and grandson.  Tom & Ursula KEIFABER brought their son John, USNA '97.   Hank & Lucy MUSTIN brought Hank's Brother Tom, USNA '62, with his wife Jean, and Hank's sister Doug with her husband Dale St. Denis.  Bob & JoAnn BOYD and Bud & Madeleine SUMMERS did much heavy lifting during the cleanup while John DEZELL played a medley of Navy fight songs on the piano.  Others attending included Tom and Teri BOUCHER, Dick & Jane KITTLER, George and Gracie Martin (16), Tom SHINE, and Carol SCHRADER.   Additional '55ers at the football game cheering Navy to victory were Bill ANDERS, Wally CHRISTMAS and Tony DOPAZO (not necessarily a complete list of '55ers at the game).

"At the Poinsettia Bowl game, Navy's team speed was the telling factor.  Navy's ground attack more than compensated for Colorado State's passing game.  To the approval of all Navy fans, the outcome was apparent after the first half.  The 51 to 30 victory was an enduring tribute to the 'Pride of the Fleet' in a rebuilding year.  Go Navy!"  This first photo can be enlarged by clicking anywhere in the photo.

A spy has been caught.  Boy Boyd detected wearing a Colorado A&M beanie.  Bob protested that he was merely modeling the beanie.  Bob attended Colorado State (ne Colorado A&M) in 1950.

Tom Boucher cracks up Ace Davis and Tom Kiefaber.
