Dot and I were in the area and had to stop
by and pay our respects. After all, my God of 2.5 managed to see me through
so it is the least we can do. We had lunch at Mike's Crab House and the
crab cakes were as great as ever. Spent some of our retirement money in
the Midshipmen's store and walked the grounds to reminisce about the "good
old days". Dot likes to tell how in the 50's, we never held hands or showed
any form of affection in public. She also likes to remind me that during
our courting days walking the sidewalks of Annapolis, I'd tell her to hold
her head up as we walked, while at the same time, she was scared to death
that she'd stumble on the uneven bricks. Now, I have a habit of walking
with my head down, fearful that I'd stumble. With my artificial knee, that
would not be funny. "What goes around, comes around!" I kept my eyes out
for some of you locals, but to no avail.
