Navy 37 - Stanford 9

The Stanford game provided an opportunity for west coast classmates to gather in Palo Alto.  The following classmates camped at the Hotel California, a B&B hotel just off the Stanford campus:  Ned & Lynne Floyd,  Guy & Pat Grafius, John Haynes, Ray Medeiros with Barbara Obinger, Bud & Madeleine Summers, and Seab & Juanita Wade.  Others known to attend the game include Jim (USNA '54) & Dora Griffin Bell, John & Elaine Kelly, Dick & Linda Knock, John & Priscilla McLaughlin, Bob Merritt, Burt & Rene Munger, Preston & Kathryn Reynolds, and Bob & Sue Stuckey.  (My apologies to those I missed.)  All thoroughly enjoyed the Navy victory as well as the warm hospitality rendered by Stanford University.  This was the inaugural game at the reconstructed Stanford Stadium.
