Al Kozischek Memorial Service
Al Kozischek was inured Friday, 12
March 2004 at Pacific View Memorial Park, Corona del Mar,
CA. There was a memorial service at the Chapel at Pacific View
Mortuary. The proceedings were grand and most befitting for Big
Al. Tom Kiefaber and Hugh Webster were among the many who
eulogized Al. Al's ashes were laid to rest next to Ingrid who
predeceased Al in 1996. A reception was held following the
service at the Women's Club of Orange, CA. Classmates paid there
respects to Al's family and his OAO, Mary Ann Andersen. Those
'55ers attending (perhaps incomplete) include Penny & John Nyquist,
Tom Boucher, Jim DeGroff, Ned & Lynne Floyd, Lu Gregg, Ken &
Fran Highfill, Tom Kiefaber,
Carlos McAfee, Ed McHale, Ray Medeiros with Barbara Obinger, Tom Shine,
Paul Slack, Bud & Madeliene Summers, John & Joan Weaver, Hugh
& Peggy Webster, and Smoke Wilson.
