Hi Guys,
Margo and I recently took
our entire family, children, spouses, and
grandchildren (15 total) to Disney World for a week. There were
three
days ashore and four days on the Disney Wonder. One of the
highlights
was a tour of Epcot. We have been there many times and it was not
the
tour itself that made it great, but rather the manner in which we made
the tour. We were on Segway Human Transporters. I had been
looking
forward to this with great anticipation.
There were seven in our
group. We had an hour of instruction in an
indoor, carpeted room, complete with traffic cones and a relatively
steep ramp. We became surprisingly proficient. No question
but what
we were part of the overall attraction of Epcot. It all
took place in
the morning so there was only a moderate crowd at Epcot. Everyone
looked at us longingly and with great interest. Most wanted to
know
what we were doing and how could they get such machines. What a
neat
way to get around. We recommend the tour to everyone who wants to
do
something that is just a bit different from normal activities.
