Blue and Gold Social Hours

PSC hosts a social hour and networking event for USNA Alumni and their guests from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on the last Thursday of every month, generally alternating between Puget Sound East and West.  The first pitchers and appetizers are on PSC, then you're on your own.  There is no RSVP and you should come as you are.

Our Puget Sound East events have been held at the Rock Bottom on Fifth Avenue, Hale's Ales between Fremont and Ballard, Elysian Fields Brewpub on 1st Avenue South, Issaquah BrewHouse in downtown Issaquah, Pyramid Brewery across from Safeco Field, Elliott Bay Brewery & Pub in West Seattle, Engels Pub in Edmonds, and The Inn Sports Bar & Grill in Lynnwood.

Our Puget Sound West events have been held at Our Place Pub and Eatery and the Oxford Suites, both located in Silverdale.

Our next Social Hour is scheduled for Thursday, August 26.  Visit our Events page for the details.

Chapter By-Laws

On January 13, 2009, the PSC Trustees approved Revision One to the Chapter By-laws that were originally approved in February 1991.  These revisions were implemented to accomplish the following goals:

  1. Establish consistency with the recent revision to the national Alumni Association By-Laws;
  2. Bring our Chapter By-Laws “on-line” with the current level of computer and internet communications;
  3. Re-establish consistency with Chapter practices which have evolved during the 18-year period since our By-Laws were originally established;
  4. Clarify various provisions and correct minor clerical errors in the original By-Laws.
A summary of these revisions can be downloaded by clicking Revision One to the Chapter By-Laws.

The complete Chapter By-Laws as amended can be downloaded by clicking Chapter By-Laws.

If you have questions about Revision One or our Chapter By-Laws in general, please contact Jim Adkins '58 at 360-662-1958 or jadkins@wavecable.com.
