The Founders Day Dinner with George Watt '73 turned out well with 40 attendees. The food was delicious, the venue was nice, and George gave an excellent talk. With a brief history of the founding of the Naval Academy, and touching on points from his
Over the Wall
comments in Shipmate, George spoke about today's Academy and the quality of today's Midshipmen.
He encouraged us to get connected through our Chapter and to become engaged through our Alumni Association to help make the Naval Academy even better than it already is. He also stressed that his primary focus was to encourage active participation in the Alumni Association.
