How do I become a member of the USNA Alumni Association of Philadelphia?

Membership Drive

If you are not a member of our Chapter, please join by mailing your dues, $10/year or $25/3 years, payable to “USNA AA Philadelphia” to Brian Degnan ’98, 308 Haverford Pl, Swarthmore, PA  19081-2009.  Your dues are good for a year or three years from when you pay them.  We want to regain our status as one of the largest Chapters of the USNA Alumni Association with a Local Trustee from our Chapter on the Association Board of Trustees when it meets in Annapolis.

Chapter Elections

Our Chapter seeks members who are willing to serve as Chapter Officers and Directors.  The duties and responsibilities of our Officers and Directors are in our by-laws.  If you would like to run for election to Chapter office or to be elected as a Director, or if you would like to nominate a fellow member, please contact Tony Sanchez ’91, Vice President Membership:  members@usnaphil.com

Mission

The mission of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association of Philadelphia is reflected in everything we do.  Our goal is to contribute to the overall good of the U.S. Naval Academy, build our chapter membership, and have fun.   Please take time to complete our Survey.

Our Mission is twofold:

1) Initiate and sponsor activities which will perpetuate the history, traditions, memories, and growth of the Naval Academy and bind alumni together in the support of the highest ideas of command, citizenship and government.  For information or questions, contact the Chapter President at president@usnaphil.com.

2) Seek out, inform, encourage and assist outstanding, qualified young men and women to pursue careers as Officers in the Navy and Marine Corps through the Naval Academy.  For information or questions, contact the USNA Admissions Office.
